Our Lawn Care Program is filled, and we can no longer accept clients for the summer of 2025.
The Lawn Care Program is for lower income seniors who reside in the city of Hammond and own and reside in their own home. This program is grass cutting only. The program runs from June 1 through the end of September or first part of October. Lawns are cut approximately twice each month.
PLEASE NOTE: Applications for this program are sent out in April. If you are interested in the program, please call-in starting April 1. We will put your name on the list to receive an application. Applicants are chosen on a first come basis when applications are returned to us.
To qualify for the program, you must:
Live alone or with another senior or an individual who is disabled.
Own and reside in your own home, showing proof of ownership.
Show proof of income such as SSI or SSDI.
